Electronic Arts has established a yearly tradition of using its latest entry in the Madden NFL series to predict the way the Super Bowl game will turn out. And this year, the results, obtained using Madden NFL 10, the latest stats and a secret procedure EA is not revealing, are favoring the New Orleans Saints, the champions of the NFC, which are set to take down the Indiana Colts, the representatives of the AFC, by 35 to 31.

According to EA Sports, Drew Brees will lift the Lombardi Trophy this Sunday.
Using a video game simulation of Super Bowl XLIV with their football franchise Madden NFL, the publisher predicts the New Orleans Saints will upset the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 35-31.

Scott Green has appointed as the referee for the Super Bowl 2010 when the Colts and Saints meet on Sunday.
Green, who previously served as a back judge in Super Bowls XXXVI and XXXVIII, will serve as the referee for the first time in an NFL title game. He is a 19-year veteran who has officiated 12 playoff games, most recently the Cardinals’ 51-45 OT win against the Packers in the wild-card round.

After the suspension for the year 2008 National Football League season about drug and alcohol abuse, Anthony Hargrove is clean and sober and set to play for the New Orleans Saints in Sunday’s Super Bowl.
The 26-year-old defensive tackle made 63 tackles, five of them quarterback sacks, and three fumble recoveries in his comeback campaign, but daily triumphs over alcohol and drugs were as inspirational as any on-field heroics.
