49ers vs Saints: San Francisco 49ers were defeated by New Orleans Saints in their second game of regular season. 49ers will meet Chiefs and Saints will meet Falcons in their upcoming games.

San Francisco 49ers lost against New Orleans Saints with 25-22 in their second game of NFL regular season 2010 at Candlestick Park on Monday.

New Orleans Saints have performed well in the first quarter and scored nine points whereas San Francisco 49ers could not score even single point. In the second quarter, 49ers took the chance and scored seven points. 49ers have restricted Saints to score even single point. In the third quarter, both the teams have scored seven points each and in the final quarter, Saints have scored nine whereas 49ers have scored eight points. Finally, New Orleans Saints won with 25-22 against San Francisco 49ers.

New Orleans Saints tailback, Reggie Bush got injured to his right knee during the fourth quarter. He will undergo for tests after turned to New Orleans.

San Francisco 49ers players, Alex Smith has passed 275 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions, Franck Gore has rushed 112 yards with one touchdown and Vernon Davis has received four from 78 yards are remained as top performers in Monday night football game.
