Andre Johnson signed a new deal with Houston Texans on Thursday. Andre Johnson was prepared to continue with Houston Texans for his entire NFL career.
All-Pro wide receiver, Andre Johnson signed a two-year deal with Houston Texans and he will continue with Houston Texans till 2016 season. The deal worth’s $38 million and his seven-year deal worth’s $78 million. He will receive $10.5 million per season.
Both Andre Johnson and Houston Texans did not reveal the terms involved in the contract. However, Andre Johnson said that he is happy with the new deal.
“There’s no
thing I can complain about,” Andre Johnson said. “For me to be in the situation I was in, for this to happen, it just speaks a lot to the people we have in the organization and the owner we have. It’s a first-class organization. I’m very happy right now.”
Andre Johnson was picked by Houston Texans as a No.3 overall pick in the 2003 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, he had a record of 66 receptions for 976 yards and 4 touchdowns for 16 matches.
Andre Johnson has made 101 receptions, 1569 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns till the end of 2009 season.
