The Atlanta Falcons have extends the contract of the general manager Thomas Dimitroff with a multi-year deal on Wednesday, 9th march, 2011.

Blank, Falcons owner said in a statement that, the extension of Thomas agreement ensures that he and Smith, whose contract was extended last month, will be capable to continue to work together on solidifying the long-term sustainability and execution of our football team, Thomas has demonstrated himself to be a extremely skillful and talented general manager of our club, and we look forward to the Falcons reaping the remuneration of his work for many years to come.
The Owner of Falcons, Arthur has appointed Thomas Dimitroff as a General Manager for Atlanta Falcons on 13th January, 2008. After a couple of week, Falcons have finished with a 4-12 season that included the detention of quarterback Michael Vick and the sudden departure of first-year coach Bobby Petrino.
Thomas after ten days of his appointment as a General Manager, he has appointed Mike Smith as a Coach for the Atlanta Falcons. Mike Smith contract has also been extended to the 2014 season.
Mike Smith said that he would like to thank Mr. Blank, the owner of Falcons for the support and confidence; he has shown from the past three seasons. Dimitroff said that, he will look forward working with Smitty and his coaching staff as we continue our journey of bringing NFL championship-caliber football to Falcons fans and to the city of Atlanta.
