No time is being wasted by the Cincinnati Bengals as they are getting ready Andy Dalton. The Cincinnati Bengals’ coach Marvin Lewis has said that Dalton will be the started at the quarterback in the Cincinnati’s preseason opener on Friday night against the Detroit Lions.
However, it could be the first of many starts for Andy Dalton in Cincinnati Bengals. Dalton was drafted in the second round in April in order to replace the veteran Carson Palmer who has demanded to be traded and subsequently retired.
After the Monday’s night practice, Andy Dalton has said that it is a good opportunity for her and he knew that once he gets drafted in the team, there was going to be an opportunity. Dalton has told that he feels he has come out and worked hard and tried to get better each day and that is all he can do right then.
However, the Cincinnati Bengals might keep Dalton and the first team on the field longer than usual. Currently, Cincinnati is in the process of learning a new West Coast offense. Lewis said that they have not had all the offseason work that they normally would have. Lewis thinks that they need to play together as a football team on both sides of the ball.
