The wide receiver of Cincinnati Bengals, A.J. Green has missed out the practice on Wednesday, after he got injured to his right leg while running a pass route.
However, the first-round draft pick from Georgia was injured early in practice and has applied bag of ice to the back of the leg and has returned to the locker room.
Marvin Lewis, the coach said that Green was kicked near the knee but the injury was not considered serious. Green is expected to be present for the practice on Friday. The Bengals might decide to rest him as precaution. They play their second preseason game Sunday night in New York against the New York Jets.
A.J. Green has been one of the most impressive players in camp. Repeatedly, he has been making acrobatic catches and dive grabs. Also, he came up limping during practice on Tuesday but he did not miss much of the time. Green is the centre piece of a makeover at receiver in Cincinnati. Bengals had let Terrell Owens move as a free agent and has traded Chad Ochocinco to New England. They left them with one of the league’s least-experienced groups at receiver.
