Remember?! Ravens, Haloti Ngata raked up his hands through Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger’s nose causing the QB’s nose split and spewing bloody sprinkles on to his jersey! Well, if you are looking for Ben Roethlisberger…

Ahem, all Big Ben’s fans, we have news, big man Roethlisberger is back on field but with a protective nose shield.

The Steelers Quarter Back who got to hurt his nose by Ngata’s tackling, is to wear on a protective nose shield on field for upcoming game on Sunday against Cincinnati Bengals. Referring to his doctor statement and on X-rays of his splintered nose, ‘the bones are looked like corn flakes’ is what Ben quipped.

‘Playing with a shield however force me to take some adjustment just as Hockey players do, but heading to the practice sessions with that will make itself used on me’ Roethlisberger said. As the worries were more on his already injured nose in 2006 caused by a bike accident, Ben said the doctors confirmed that his nose is absolutely holding up the same as after the reconstruction following bike accident based on a CT scan before surgery.

Coming off from the injury despite his need to use the shield, the big man is pretty controlled over the fines and penalty’s to be posed on the players responsible for injures.

For raking up his hand on a defenseless player, Ngata fined about $15,000 albeit his attempt was absolutely to tackle the player but not to injure intentionally. Apart from Ngata, the other player to get fined in that game between Steelers Vs Ravens was, Jameel McClain for $40,000 as his helmet hit caused Tight End of Steelers, Heath Miller’s concussion.

Seeing the results, Steelers felt happy for the first time as the other team getting penalties and fines.

Back on game, Steelers (9-3) having Ben practicing with a Nose shield, Millers’ prospects after neurological tests; will take on Cincinnati Bengals (2-10) on Sunday night.
