Brad Childress Fired: Minnesota Vikings fired Coach Brad Childress and appointed Leslie Frazier as an interim coach. Brad Childress fired became the hot topic in the NFL.

On Monday, Minnesota Vikings owner, Zygi Wilf announced that they are firing Brad Childress and Leslie Frazier will act as interim coach.

Earlier this season, Brad Childress was succeeded in convincing their star quarterback, Brett Favre. Minnesota Vikings started the season with huge expectations on Super Bowl XLV. But, Vikings failed to perform according to that.

Zygi Wilf, team president, Mark Wilf, his brother had a long meeting with Brad Childress on Monday early morning. Later, Zygi Wilf said, “It’s often difficult to articulate one reason why change is needed.”

Minnesota Vikings performance was not good this season. They won only three games and lost seven games so far in this NFL regular season 2010. Last Sunday, Vikings performance was poor and lost with 31-3 at home against Green Bay Packers.
