Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams has a dislocated right elbow which could sideline him for a month. Williams hurt his elbow in the Broncos’ 23-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night, with defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley. The injury will cost Williams to miss first game of the regular season after suffering a dislocated elbow.
Williams tweeted on Sunday that he will be back n no time as he is a fast healer. He also added that he is a supreme being so the recovery will be cut in half and will soon playing for the Denver. Williams has led the Broncos in tackles in three of the last four seasons, and his teammates said they expect him to work hard on getting back soon and will be back on the football field.
Champ Bailey said it is unfortunate to lose Williams as he is one of their leaders; however, they need to keep on moving with the situation. Williams has left the stadium after the game in a throw with his right arm heavily taped from his wrist to biceps. Bunkley, said that Wiiliam wasn’t seriously injured, but he was cut-blocked by Seattle guard Robert Gallery, but declined to call out Gallery for a cheap shot. The injuries are part of games and Bunkley said that they were in the trenches, and things like that are going to happen.
Although Williams said he will be all right, after suffering the injury during the first quarter of the game against the Seahawks, the Denver is hoping that Williams to be sidelined three to four weeks. Williams could miss both Week 1 of the regular season against the Raiders and Week 2 against the Bengals. Williams have been leading tackler for past two years.
