Da’Quan Bowers the second-round draft pick by Tampa Bay Buccaneers declares that his knee is 100 percent fit to play and is in position to get in to the field.
The rookie player Bowers, said that his knee is great and it is back to its position where the rookie wanted to be before regular season. Bowers has been rehabbing and working out throughout the whole summer and even through the lockout, as the knee is back to its playing shape.
Bowers added that he is doing good amount of exercise to his knee as running, cutting and jumping. As he came across the question is that Bower knee is still continuing the rehab, he replied the surgeon Dr. James Andrews has witnessed much worse knees than his and also continued their career in the NFL.
Buccaneers rookie Bowers has skipped the two player only workouts organized by the quarterback Josh Freeman during the lockouts. He also failed to attend June’s NFLPA run rookie symposium. The former Clemson defensive terror says Bowers skipped only to attain full fitness ahead of regular season.
Bowers explained that he never wanted to miss out workouts or rehab process as everyone knows next two weeks will be crucial as the lockout may end. He decided to skip the symposium and the minicamp to put his rehab process for regaining full fitness. Bowers added that he didn’t want to miss any rehab time that would prolong his recovery time much longer.
