On Wednesday morning, Cam Newton has earned respect from his Carolina teammates. During the afternoon, he hopped a flight to Washington to meet the president. Soon after, he quickly returned and has attended that final player-organized workout on the next day.
The Heisman trophy winner is preparing for the scrutiny of being the NFL’s No. 1 overall pick. Newton was making the best of an offseason unlike anyone else because of lockout. The linebacker of Carolina Panthers, Jon Beason said that Newton has showed up every day early and was working hard. He added that he is interacted well and has shown some great leadership.
Cam Newton has led the Auburn to the 2010 national title with a dazzling 50-touchdown season. Now, he is upbeat and confident even as he admits the NFL is not like a college football. He believes that the Panthers who have managed the 16 offensive touchdowns can turn things around. They are better enough even if he’s not about to make any brave statements about thrashing out Clausen for the starting job.
Newton has named the talent the offense has displayed at the eight days of workouts as ‘something to be scared of’. Newton said that everything has been great and they have been getting excellent participation from the team. He added that they were just out there every single day trying to do the best that they can with the material that they do have to try to learn and comprehend.
