Champ Bailey, the perennial Pro Bowl cornerback has decided to stay back and sing a deal of four-year contract with Denver, bailey has denied the Broncos for pulling out a four-year contract which was offered to him in last October, 2010, where he might have made more money in the open market.
Bailey has played the playoffs only three time s in his 12 NFL seasons said that, he thinks that Broncos are in capable under the hands of new coach John Fox, who has deep defensive roots, and can quickly halt a five-year playoff drought.
The present cornerstones of Denver’s massive defensive are Champ Bailey and Elvis Dumervil( the Pass-Rusher), who have missed their last season, due to injury with a torn chest muscle year after leading the NFL with 17 sacks in 2009.
Bailey said that he appreciated Elway’s involvement in re-signing him and also the Broncos’ willingness to extend an offer to him just four months shy of his 33rd birthday.
Bailey deal was welcome news in the city Denver and he said that he never wanted to leave Denver.
Bailey has said that even if he not from Denver he is feels as though he is Denver native and he feels as if he is at home, that was the reason to stay back and make the city proud. He thinks that Denver has not done very well since 2005-AFC Championship Game.
