Chad Ochocinco was fined by NFL for violating the two game policies and penalized by $25,000. Chad Ochocinco was fined for two violations – posted some messages on a twitter after Cincinnati Bengals victory against Philadelphia Eagles last week and having an electronic device.
As per the NFL rules and regulations, none of the NFL player is allowed to post messages on social media sites before the match commences and until the completion of post-game media obligations.
Chad Ochocinco tweeted at 6:50 p.m. ET and 9:53 p.m. ET. The game kicked-off at 8:07 p.m. ET on Friday.
On Tuesday, Chad Ochocinco apologized NFL through a tweet “I won’t do it again.” Ochocinco was fined by NFL executive vice president of football operations, Ray Anderson.
Cincinnati Bengals defeated Philadelphia Eagles in their second preseason game of this season at Paul Brown Stadium on Friday.
