Kansas City Chief’s Quarter Back, Matt Cassel underwent an appendectomy on Wednesday which caused his place in Sunday’s play against the Chargers’ at San Diego a speculative.
Cassel has got a key hold in driving up Chief’s on to the helm of AFC west despite of a slower start earlier this season.
Basing on a source, the surgical procedure has shown the positive results and however, his prospects for coming back for Sunday’s play are not confirmed.
Adding on to his speculations for play, Chief’s roster is lined up with probable’s Brodie Croyle (0-9) and Quarter back Tyler Palko as 53rd man who spent most of their time in this year at practice.
Having to his record, 23 touchdowns, for 2,503 yards with 4 interceptions equipping 98.4 passer rating; Cassel is not a normal man whose probability of being in the game would be announced very early to the game. Coach, Todd Healy declined all the speculations around his placement in the team for Sunday’s game thus, making it a game-time decision. Nevertheless, his name would be in injured list till the play day.
Cassel is also been rated as AFC’s offensive player of the year for his surmountable 90 of 144 passes for 1,111 yards with 12 touchdowns having only one interception. He has been a full time starter for Chief’s and is also known for 158 passes, a third longest streak in the league.
KC Chief’s (8-4) is in warm up to take on Chargers (6-6) at San Diego, coming Sunday.
