Last Friday, Darrelle Revis agents have made a new contract proposal to New York Jets. But, New York Jets have confirmed that there will be no new contract with Darrelle Revis. New York Jets owner, Woody Johnson said that All-Pro cornerback, Darrelle Revis does not have any chance of signing on new deal with Jets before the 2010 regular season.
Earlier, Darrelle Revis made some comments at his friends regarding his deal that he won’t play for New York Jets on $1 million salary. New York Jets were serious about Revis comments and replied that they won’t sign on any new contract wi
th Darrelle Revis.
On Friday, Darrelle Revis agents, Jon Feinsod and Neil Schwartz have met with New York Jets general manager, Mike Tannenbaum at a diner in rural Roscoe, N.Y., and presented three-page document about the new deal.
New York Jets owner, Woody Johnson insists that there will be nothing new and different. But, Neil Schwartz says that they were new elements.
New York Jets coach, Rex Ryan said that they are preparing without Darrelle Revis and they are not expecting Revis will join with team for the upcoming season.
Darrelle Revis was the 14th overall pick in the first round of 2007 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. During his first season, Revis has made 199 tackles and 14 interceptions.
