David Carr and Alex Smith: David Carr did not perform well against Philadelphia Eagles. Alex Smith remained as top performer from San Francisco 49ers.

On Sunday, San Francisco 49ers were defeated by Philadelphia Eagles at Candlestick Park. This is the fifth consecutive loss for 49ers in this regular season.

David Carr disappointed all the 49ers fans as they have huge expectations on him. David Carr played with lack of confidence and took a commercial break. The 49ers and David Carr fans sounded “we want Carr!”

David Carr started his NFL career with Houston Texans. David Carr was the first pick in the first round of 2002 NFL draft. Carr played for Carolina Panthers in the 2007 season. Later, he traded to New York Giants and played in 2008-2009 season. On March 7, 2010, David Carr signed an deal with San Francisco 49ers.

Alex Smith performed well with 309 yards pass, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions against Philadelphia Eagles. But, 49ers lost with 27-24 against Eagles in their fifth game of regular season.
