Jack Del Rio, the coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars has admitted that the blame for his team’s struggles to get a play off in the final seconds of the Sunday’s 16-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Del Rio has accepted the blame.
Blaine Gabbert, the rookie quarterback has driven the Jacksonville Jaguars to the Panthers’ 36-yard line. However, it appeared as they would have several shots at the end zone. But, Blaine and Jack Del Rio have failed to realize the clock would start following a reviewed play causing precious seconds to tick off before the final snap. At last, the final pass fell incomplete for the Jaguars.
Coach Del Rio has said that he accept the responsibility for that not being done better. He said that there were 38 seconds and they only got two snaps off which are not good. He added they need to be able to run several plays in that situation and execute that situation much better. He added that he must make sure that their staff and their 11 offensive players that are involved in that situation handle that much better. He also said that it was not acceptable and it did not give those enough opportunities there at the end to steal that win.
