Cowboy’s linebacker DeMarcus Ware said that every player under contract has attended players led workouts. Many of them has led the workouts during the teams lockout period Tony Romo, tight end Jason Witten, linebackers Bradie James, Keith Brooking and Ware have played active part. But it is not a leadership as many of people thinking about.
Dallas Cowboys team is filled with bunch of players who can lead from front but it not stick with one guy like Ray Lewis or Peyton Manning. Ware said that it is completely whole team effort to win the game and he doesn’t think it is possible by one player. In their team meeting, they discussed to have OTAs and to bring all players together.
Ware says about the one of the players who has been wide receiver Dez Bryant, the enigmatic talent whose 2010 rookie season was missed out the regular season due to ankle fracture. Bryant is trying to recover well and get in to the field. Ware stated that in the workouts playing with Romo was a learning experience.
Cowboys defensive players are planning to implement some new schemes which new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan planned to install said Ware. Ware was unhappy that there no chance for players and coaches to work during the lockouts.
By the end of the day, you have to get out in the field and play football. All the players will be playing for one aim i.e., to win the Super Bowl.
