Detroit Lions is lacking the main positions in the football game i.e., quarterback; they had Shaun Hill as a backup for quarterback position.
Recently, Shaun Hill underwent a back surgery and their quarterback position was kept spacious. Lions quarterback condition is a strength or a potential can cause to upset the high hopes for significant improvement.
Until unless Hill recovers they can play with him otherwise Lions have to risk their Matthew Stafford, a consistent injury prone player. Matthew Stafford is coming back from the shoulder surgery and there are questions about his ability coming from operation and to remain injury free through 16 playoffs.
In the 2011 NFL draft picks they opted for Nick Fairley defensive tackle player of Auburn in first round pick. In the second round pick they went for Boise State wide receiver Titus Young by these two picks Lions passing and defensive attacks turned much stronger. But they forgot of going for the back-up player for quarterback position.
Young and Johnson will be carrying the team’s wins but someone needs to throw the ball at them all the time to crash their opponents. Luckily if Matthew Stafford is fit and there is still a hope over him as the playoff will be starting on September and still some time to retain full fitness. All these players need to be at their beat if Lions must be a tough contender for Super Bowl Championship in 2011.
