Did Brain Injury Lead Dave Duerson to Commit Suicide?

Dave Duerson, former Chicago Bears safety killed himself last week and asked that his brain be studied. If researchers find evidence of a chronic condition, it will be up to the NFL to take immediate action on head injuries

Duerson, the former Chicago Bears safety had their anniversary last season, where most of the big-names have joined to gather to celebrate his anniversary. However, last week their was no-joy as he was died.

Dace Duerson attempted a suicide by shot himself in the chest in his Florida home on Thursday night. He was turned 50 in November right around the time all the ’85 Bears started appearing in Chicago. It took two days for the officials to confirm as suicide and it took another day or so for the real shocker to be revealed.

Duerson has suffered some business setbacks and personal losses, he is seemed to have much to live for; he was engaged to be married, and was having a number of possibilities to enter the business and political arenas, he was also consider running for mayor of the city of Chicago as well as coaching positions in the NFL.
