Charles Clay, former Tulsa fullback and tight end was drafted to the Miami Dolphins in the draft picks; he is overall pick no 174 in the NFL Draft pick 2011 in sixth round.
The rookie player of Dolphins, Charles Clay played all long from his childhood in dreaming to be drafted in to NFL team and represent the team, his dream was half done as he was drafted by Miami Dolphins. The NFL workouts have been going on from three months and there is no sign when it will be ending. Clay said like some of the other rookie players he is facing financial midpoint stage.
Clay in order to pay his bills, the rookie has taken up doing odd jobs of cutting the grass at oil wells at the company called LPD. Clay stated that it is hard time form him right now, he started his college level football with Tulsa. He is working in small jobs to get income but now with the workouts going on and there is no income right now it is really tough. They need to pay for their trainees so the rookies are opting to do small jobs.
The former Tulsa player added that, it is tough but they need to get the income from somehow. He is sure that some of his other mates are doing the same as no one is getting the income. In case of Clay, he was unable to take part in the Dolphin’s player’s only workouts in Florida because rookie can’t afford the trip.
