The defensive tackle of Eagles, Mike Patterson who has suffered a lengthy seizure at practice on Wednesday is likely to be cleared to participate in football-related activity on Friday. An official of Eagles has said that the medical reports that they have received are positive and they can expect Patterson to be ready for the team’s Week 1 clash against St. Louis Rams on 11th September.
As per the reports, Mike Patterson has returned to the training camp at Lehigh University and has visited with neurologists over the weekend. Currently, he is hoping to get an accurate diagnosis and as so all indications, he is in good health and his career is not yet over.
Besides him, the newly acquired cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha has sat out of practice on Sunday due to thigh injury. On account of his absence the Pro Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel has put on a dynamic exhibition and has said that he is eager to face the team’s full slate of receivers. However, the Eagles are also waiting to see whether Jackson arrives at the camp on Monday or not.
Reid said that he is focused on getting guys who are here coached up if Mike was not present. Apart from this, the wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has sat out the last five days of practice due to an unspecified illness and has shot down rumors on Saturday that he was suffering from a serious medical issue. Reid has also said that Maclin continues to undergo testes to diagnose his condition.
