There is possible loss of the top receiver Greg Jennings for an indefinite period. It not, then the rest of the season would be a big deal to most teams headed toward the postseason. Jennings plays for the league’s most explosive offense and the highest-scoring team in franchise history may allow Green Bay to stay on its uninterrupted course.
The tight end Jermichael Finley has said that Greg is a playmaker and it is hard to replace a guy like that but they have got playmakers all through their offense. A left knee sprain sustained by Jennings in the second half Sunday somewhat dampened the excitement that enveloped another signature victory for the Green Bay Paclers who have prevailed 46-16 over the Oakland Raiders.
Green Bay Packers have become the eighth team in NFL lore to get to 13-0 and has clinched a first-round bye in the playoffs. However, Aaron Rodgers, who tied Brett Favre’s single-season team record of 39 touchdown passes, has not sounded optimistic about having Jennings back anytime soon. Jennings has limped off the field after making a catch and had to be taken on a cart to the locker room.
