Hines Ward wants to return to Pittsburgh Steelers, as he will have two-surgeries, the first surgy is on his left knee and the next on to his left thumb later this week. Ward, who had cartilage damage on his left knee, since his training camp is looking for a come back.
Ward during his week-2 game against Tennessee Titans, continued a torn muscle injury in his left thumb, and said that neither injury contributed to him having his fewest receptions 59, since 2000.
Ward said of the knee, which does not have an anterior circulate ligament. I have been playing for so many years on it and never really had surgery on it. They will go in there and clean it up a little bit and will be fine.
Hines Ward is planning to return Pittsburgh Steelers for the 14th and said to the sources that his coach, Mike Tomlin, asked him, not to make any retirement plans as of now. And said that it is not the right time to take an option and think about the retirement plans. However, Mike Tomlin, the coach for Pittsburgh Steelers, wants ward back into game.
Ward regarding the surgeries said that, after finishing all the surgeries, I will be back into the team with a fresh comeback. And said that, he has got lot of experience, he says that, he loves playing the game as he did it in the Super Bowl and still some playing days are left in my career and will be there in the Steelers team.
