The former Cleveland Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme has signed with Houston Texans, where he also takes part in the training session on Tuesday 29th November.

The 36-year-old Jake Delhomme has worked out along with another retired quarterback Jeff Garcia with Houston Texans on Tuesday. Delhomme said he is looking forward to contribute in team victories, where Texans are very weak at the position, after season-ending injuries to quarterbacks Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart. Houston Texans also signed-up with Kellen Clemens on last week, as Schaub needs surgery on his right ankle.

In 2010 season, Delhomme has signed a two year contract with the Cleveland Browns, where he suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter of the first game against Tampa Bay Buccaneers’. Quarterback has made just two touchdowns and seven interceptions, while going along with 2-3 as a starter for Browns. Delhomme is likely to be the second quarterback behind rookie T.J. Yates.

Indianapolis Colts fired out defensive coordinator Larry Coyer and quarterback Dan Orlovsky will make his first start for the team, since 2008 announced by the Colts team officials on Tuesday. Kansas City also released offensive tackle Jared Gaither, after losing to Pittsburgh Steelers with a 13-9 at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City last week.
