Jake Locker, the rookie quarterback has joined the first informal workouts of Tennessee Titans with his new teammates for the first time at Nashville, since he was drafted to Titans.
Locker is the first round pick of Titans and overall picks No.8 in the NFL Draft. The team is planning for a ‘minicamp’ next week.
Rookie quarterback hasn’t thrown a pass but he impressed some of the senior pros of Titans by taking the initiative to travel to Nashville. Damian Williams, receiver said that, Locker is a good kid and just coming out off from the college level football. Jake Locker is very dedicated towards the game and ready to learn things from any player this speaks about his character and willingness to work. Locker will be under Williams for two more weeks of informal workouts of Titans.
Marc Mariani, who is the only other receiver with Williams at the workouts at Nashville, which included 15 players of Tennessee Titans, participated in the workouts during the lockout. Mariani stated that, he heard lots of things about rookie quarterback and finally met him in the workouts and looking forward to group with Locker.
Jake Locker said that, he will throw passes as the receivers guide him in the workouts. He then added just be with the team and spending some time with players makes him feel comfortable which is crucial in the football. He just wanted to come out for Nashville to work hard and show them what game is meant to him, he is excited to play football.
