Arizona State football defensive end James Brooks has left the team for personal reasons, as the team had loss another starter.
Arizona State head coach Dennis Erickson said that, starting defensive end James Brooks has sure to leave the team for personal reasons. He had supposedly left the team on last year for similar reasons, but return back to the team, where this time the exit appears to be a permanent one. Dennis Erickson said team is ready to help Brooks in any situation.
Brooks had 24 tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss and four sacks in 2010 season. He was expected to team-up with Junior Onyeali and Jamaar Jarrett to provide the Sun Devils, as the preseason hot favorites in the Pac-12 South and one of the best threesomes at defensive end in the South conference. James has been entering into his final season with the Sun Devils, where he has played in 31 games including 15 starts during his career,
The Sun Devils have lost fourth started, since the end of the 2010 season. In the spring practices
First team All-Pac-10 cornerback Omar Bolden and receiver T.J. Simpson have sustained knee injuries, quarterback Steven Threet also pulled out of the season, due to several accidental injuries.
