Colorado Buffaloes cornerback Jimmy Smith visited the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday 30th March, 2011. He was considered as one of the best cornerback scenario for the 2011 NFL Draft.

Jimmy Smith carried out a confidential workout with Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday. Smith ran the 40 yard dash in 4.46 seconds including 36 inch vertical jump and 225 pounds bench press repetitions at the NFL Scouting Combine, which was held in last month. He completed his college with Colorado Buffaloes and made a 183 career tackle, where he got 77th rank in the all time at Colorado. He was invited to play in the Senior Bowl in January, 2011.

Sources stated that, Jimmy Smith was one of the best 32 players to select for the 2011 NFL Draft. NFL senior analyst Pat Kirwan and Bucky Brooks said that Smith will be taken late in the first round pick for the NFL teams. Reports say that, Smith will be selected by Philadelphia Eagles on 23rd pick and Baltimore Ravens on 26th pick for the next months NFL Draft. Smith is having speed, athleticism, smooth, and quickness in his movements on the field. He is in good shape and mentally strong to play NFL.

Bucky Brooksâ€™ feels that Smith is ideally suited to play and few prospects can pick him for his performance over last two seasons. Baltimore Ravens were undoubtedly was one of the 28 NFL teams, that met with Smith at the NFL Scouting Combine. Smith said that, he had done several mistakes in college, but was a great person. He added that he had best speed, great size, good ball skills and sharp athletic. Sources stated that Smith was a young and talented guy, which NFL teams can pick him early in the next monthâ€™s draft.

Smith was caught while taking alcohol during the training camp. He had a solid position and very talented guy, who needs to work hard on the field. He was the one of the most impressive corner back at the NFL Scouting Combine. Sources stated that he was arrested by the police officials and also failed the drugs test in 2007.
