Florida Gators quarter John Brantley has been taking part in the training sessions on Monday and hopes to return back into the team for Saturday night football match against No. 22 Georgia in Jacksonville.
The 22-year-old Brantley was injured to his right ankle playing against Alabama on 1st October on Saturday. Florida has made just 17 points in 10 quarters, since Brantley out of the field. Florida coach Will Muschamp said team hopes to get back Brantley soon for the next match against No. 22 Georgia in Jacksonville and he has been looking good in the practice sessions.
The 6-foot-3 inch Brantley has finished completed 65 percent of his passes for 942 yards this year including five touchdowns and three interceptions. Brantley has made 15 of 19 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns in the Florida’s 2010 season. Brantley, who has spend out of the field for more than two weeks, he has been working hard to heal from ankle injury and did some work on the field throwing some passes in practice sessions.
Florida injured players kicker Caleb Sturgis, guard Dan Wenger, linebacker Ronald Powell, receiver Andre Debose, and running back Mike Gillislee were expected to return back to action for training on Wednesday and hopes to be fit for the next match against Georgia in Jacksonville on 29th October.
