Quarterbacks Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee have showed outstanding performance to help LSU Tigers with a 45-0 victory over Auburn on Saturday night football at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.
LSU wide receiver Rueben Randle has caught scoring passes of 42 yards from Jordan Jefferson and 46 yards from Jarrett Lee to provide huge margin victory over the Auburn with a 45-10. Tigers center T-Bob Hebert said team has showed aggressive mode on the field and dominated playing against Auburns. LSU star cornerback Tyrann Mathieu, defensive back Tharold Simon and leading rusher Spencer Ware were suspended for one game, due to violating the team’s drug policy.
LSU holds No. 1 position follows by rival Alabama in the second spot in the latest BCS standings, where both teams will battle against each other on 5th November on Saturday night football at 8:00 pm ET at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. LSU is having 8-0 and 5-0 record in the SEC, as the team has undefeatable in this season. Jarrett Lee has made 14 of 20 for 165 passing yards including two touchdowns and Jefferson scored two of three passes for 54 yards.
The winner of the LSU Tigers and Alabama will have the chance to enter into the BCS Championship Game in New Orleans. Oklahoma State holds third place, while Clemson moves to No. 5 in BCS standings released on Sunday.
