Jordan LeopoldJordan Leopold: Buffalo Sabres have agreed for three-year deal with Jordan Leopold. A seven-year NHL veteran player, Jordan Leopold is looking to join the Buffalo Sabres immediately so that he can fill a top-four role with the Buffalo Sabres.

Buffalo Sabres pick Jordan Leopold on the first day of NHL free agency. Buffalo Sabres wasted their valuable time in selecting the defensive corps on Thursday.

Earlier, they missed veteran defensemen, Henrik Tallinder and Toni Lydman. The terms and conditions of the deal between Buffalo Sabres and Jordan Leopold were not revealed. According to the reports, Jordan Leopold may receive more than $3 million for each season.

Buffalo Sabres general manager, Darcy Regier said that they are seeking to pick a strong defenseman.
