Josh McDaniels, the former head coach of Denver Broncos was appointed as offensive coordinator of St. Louis Rams. Rams has announced the Josh McDaniels appointment on Tuesday.
Josh McDaniels got first job as an offensive coordinator with New England Patriots at an age of 32. New England Patriots won four AFC championships and two super bowl games in eight seasons, which McDaniels played very crucial role as a offensive coordinator. McDaniel was head coach from 2001-2008 with New England Patriots and he was the NFL’s youngest coach in 2009.
McDaniels first season with Denver Broncos, quarterback Kyle Orton made his highest career passes, passing yards, touchdown passes and passing rate. Orton’s 3802 passing yards were the sixth highest in a season for Broncos NFL history.
McDaniels was fined $50000 by the NFL due to violating rules by taking video of San Francisco 49ers practice in London in October.
