Kansas City Chiefs’ 45 players have taken part in the three day work out organized by the quarterback Matt Cassel, safety Jon McGraw and other players of the Chief’s.
All the players of the Kansas City Chiefs have begun swimming, boxing and vigorous workouts in gym. The Chiefs has joined on a local high school football field on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The several top players included in the workout including Cassel, Pro Bowl linebacker Derrick Johnson, running back Thomas Jones.
The team workout was scheduled tightly, which included one hour of pre-practice meetings on each day. Derrick Johnson said that, team had taken more of a mental practice, not a lot of physical things. He added it’s very good time to joined together with teammates to fresh up on the mental side of the game and learned few basics. All the teammates have showed up for the workouts as the NFL lock continues in Roeland Park and hired security guards to make everyone in order.
Kansas City Chiefs center and player representative Rudy Niswanger said that, it was a good work out and players are getting together after three months off. The NFL league’s lockout is not permitted to use NFL facilities and the coaches are not involved to participate in the NFL practice sessions.
