St. Louis Rams star player, Mark Clayton will be unavailable for the rest of the NFL regular season 2010 due to his right knee injury. Clayton will have surgery to repair a torn patellar tendon during the end of the regular season.
Mark Clayton got injured in their game against Detroit Lions that was held on Sunday. Clayton became the third injured wide receiver of St. Louis Rams for 2010 season. Earlier, St .Louis Rams wide receivers, Donnie Avery and Dominique Curry got torn ACLs.

“He’s got a torn patella,” Spagnuolo said. “So that’s unfortunate for us. We certainly don’t feel good about losing Mark because he’s made a lot of plays for us, but we have to find a way to overcome that somehow.”
In the last four games, Mark Clayton caught 22 passes for 300 yards and two touchdowns. Clayton played an important role in the St. Louis Rams victories against Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks.
