Minnesota Vikings will start their regular season of 2011 without Brett Favre and a new coach with a record of 6-10. Brett Favre has announced his retirement and Leslie Frazier will be new coach for the first full season of NFL playoffs. Minnesota Vikings has the tough draw as 10 of their opponents have better record which also includes Chicago and Green Bay.
Vikings will play a game with each team from the NFC South and the AFC West and will be clashing heavily against NFC East and NFC West teams. Vikings will host their divisional rivals Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers; they also host games against New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Oakland Raiders and the Denver Broncos.
Then Vikings will be headed to tour Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers, also travel to Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins.
Minnesota Vikings will play two games against Super Bowl Champions one at home and one at away. They never look set at their home ground as they will be touring every week after week. Vikings will be having 9th week bye which will be much needed one at that point of time.
