Chicago Bears’ unofficial offseason workouts have seen yet other new face of rookie quarterback Nate Enderle.
Nate Enderle after finishing his post-draft training in Idaho, has been picked by Bears in the fifth round draft pick of NFL Draft 2011. Enderle has arrived to Chicago and started throwing to his new teammates in the offseason workouts.
Chicago Bears, new wide receiver Andy Fantuz worked out with the team’s offensive skill position players for the first time earlier in the month has impressed one and all. Enderle has also impressed Bears’ offensive coordinator Mike Martz in a private pre-draft workout. He passed for 8,181 yards and 62 touchdowns in his four-year career starter with the University of Idaho.
The rookie quarterback, Nate Enderle has also led the team at University level in the year 2009 for Idaho squad to a victory over Bowling Green in the Humanitarian Bowl. The Bears were determined to mould their quarterback player for 2011 as their QB Caleb Hanie injured in 2010 season.
As Hanie injured Bears get hold of veteran quarterback Todd Collins and waived LeFevour with the intent of bringing him back on the practice squad. However, Cincinnati Bengals drafted in and signed LeFevour to their 53-man roster leaving Bears to develop the quarterback.
Nate Enderle will be extending his career with Bears along with Jay Cutler and Caleb Hanie.
