Ndamukong Suh’s agent, Eugene Parker confirmed that his client is not seeking $50 million contract as much as Sam Bradford, the No.1 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Ndamukong Suh was the No.2 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Ndamukong Suh and Detroit Lions are in discussions about the deal. Earlier, there was a rumor that Ndamukong Suh is seeking $50 million contract. Eugene Parker denied all the speculations on Sunday.
On the other side, Detroit Lions have commenced their training camp without Ndamukong Suh. Veteran Kyle Vanden Bosch is likely to play in the place of Ndamukong Suh. Kyle Vanden Bosch signed with Detroit Lions during the offseason.
“Obviously, you’d love to have him here,” Vanden Bosch said. “We know how talented he is, and we know how much he can help us. The sooner the better, but as players, we also understand the position he is in.”
Earlier, St. Louis Rams gave $50 million to Sam Bradford as guaranteed money and defensive tackle, Gerald McCoy has received a $35 million from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as guaranteed money.
Ndamukong Suh was the second overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska.
