New England Patriots and Damione Lewis ready for Deal

nflNew England Patriots agrees for a deal with former Panthers defensive tackle Damione Lewis on Friday and the details regarding this deal will be revealed next week.

Before the beginning of signing period in previous month, Carolina Panthers relieved Damione Lewis. Damione Lewis started all 16 games last season for Carolina Panthers. Damione Lewis also played for St. Louis Rams’ three first-round picks in 2001.

Damione Lewis was scheduled to earn $755,000 this season. He played with Carolina but his salary with New England wouldn’t make any difference. But, it will include little amount of guaranteed money.
