New England Patriots vs Indianapolis Colts Week10 NFL Picks

nfl

Tom Brady’s New England Patriots and Payton Manning’s Indianapolis Colts will both be trying to pick up a win on Sunday night at 8:20 PM ET when they battle at Lucas Oil Stadium, but more than a victory is at stake.  These two teams have been perennial AFC Championship and Superbowl contenders and both are back competing at the highest level.  Indy is undefeated and atop the AFC South at 8-0 while New England has a two game lead in the vaunted AFC East.  Ego and testosterone will be at a premium, so my NFL week 10 picks say give the points the fans will be the difference at home with another win and cover for the Colts.

The Patriots beat a good Miami team 27-17 as an 11-point favorite in Week 9. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (47). Tom Brady threw for 332 yards with a touchdown and an interception for New England and Randy Moss had a big day caughting six passes for 147 yards with a touchdown in the win. New England is 15-2-1 ATS in its last 18 games when playing on the road against Indianapolis and the total has gone UNDER in 4 of New England’s last 5 games on the road.

The Colts beat Houston 20-17 as a 7.5-point favorite in Week 9. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (50.5). Peyton Manning threw for 318 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Indianapolis and tight end Dallas Clark caught 14 passes for 119 yards.  This Indy team seems tougher under new head coach Jim Caldwell.(source)
