After the great and glorious celebrations of first Super Bowl championship win, New Orlean Saints team and city is now celebrating another party.
New Orlean Saints win their Super Bowl Championship title after 43 years and four weeks for NFL Films and Warner Home Video to complete a commemorative video recapping the best season in franchise history.
The video’s official release was set for today, hours after a premiere at the 95-year-old Prytania Theater in New Orleans’ historic Uptown neighborhood Monday night.
Drew Brees and Tracy Porter were attended as a guests for this premiere. These two gave the New Orlean Saints an insurmountable two-touchdown lead against the Indianapolis Colts late in the fourth quarter.
Jeff Brown, a Warner Home Video executive vice president specializing in TV sports and animation, said orders from retailers were already 25 percent above expectations.
Even free-agent safety Darren Sharper showed up, arriving using crutches after he had minor arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. Sharper says he’s hoping to return to New Orleans, but is keeping his options open.
