New Orleans Saints have received a grand welcome from America President, Barack Obama in White House. Barack Obama congratulated New Orleans Saints for their Super Bowl XLIV victory.
On Monday, America President, Barack Obama salute the NFL champions, New Orleans Saints during their visit to White House. Barack Obama congratulated all the Saints players, owner and coaches in an East Room ceremony.
After meeting the team, Barack Obama said that it was a glorious season for Saints as they are waiting for the big victory since long time.
“I’m a Bears fan, I’m not going to lie, but this was a big win for the country — not just New Orleans,” the president, Barack Obama said. “Back then people didn’t even know if the team was coming back. People didn’t even know if the city was coming back. Now, New Orleans and the New Orl
eans Saints are here to stay.”
Barack Obama has praised the Saints second-half performance in the Super Bowl XLIV. Obama said that he never expected that New Orleans Saints will win against Indianapolis Colts during the first half.
New Orleans Saints have presented 44 number Saints jersey to Barack Obama with Obama name.
