New York Giants cornerback Aaron Ross has suffered a concussion, during the third quarter of Sunday’s NFC Wild Card victory over the Atlanta Falcons with a 24-2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on 8th January.
The 29-year-old Aaron Ross has involved in a horrible collision with teammate defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul in the third quarter. When Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan pass was deflected, as Pierre-Paul collided with Ross, while diving for a possible interception in the third quarter on Sunday’s NFC Wild Card match. Aaron Ross and Aaron Ross were remained on the field on Sunday night, before going to sideline. Later, Pierre-Paul doesn’t suffer any injury on the play and return back to game in the fourth quarter.
New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin has not announced any details on Ross, after the match on Sunday and hopes to be all right. He added Rookie Prince Amukamara has been replaced Ross in the Giants’ cornerback line-up. Giants have announced that running back D.J. Ware also suffers a concussion and missed out the match, where it’s not clear about injury details at the moment.
Atlanta Falcons starting safety Williams Moore was sidelined, after his left the field with a groin injury, during the first quarter and Backup James Sanders replaced in the Falcons line-up. The other Falcons players, who are sidelined, are cornerback Brent Grimes with knee and linebacker Stephen Nicholas with toe injury.
