The labor battle between NFL owner and players association has moved from bargaining table to the courtroom, judges have advised both sides to reach an agreement.
On Monday, U.S District Judge Susan Richard Nelson has scheduled the hearing on the owners to dismiss an antitrust lawsuit from a group of league players for 12th September. A group of players including with quarterback Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees has been filed the antitrust lawsuit against the NFL owners, declaring their lockout of the players is illegal.
Green Bay Packers has been scheduled to host the New Orleans Saints on 8th September and NFL has planning for some big action for the first Sunday to memorialize the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. The Susan Richard Nelson has primarily ruled in favor of the players in April, as the league should lift the lockout and let the players get back to workouts at team gyms. The rule has been request to the 8th Circuit in St. Louis, where a 3 judge panel heard urging on Friday and considering the matter.
The NFL training is going to start in less than 2 months away and all the team officials are making emergency plans on lockout drags on. The Minnesota Vikings plans to have a fix date this week, if the lockout continued, they would force them to cancel the training camp in Mankato.
