Players get an early triumph over the owners in the court, after seven weeks into NFL lockout U.S. District Judge Susan Richard Nelson has notified to end the NFL Lockout on Monday giving a better edge to the players over the owners in dividing the NFL 9 billion business.
NFL had appealed asking weather Nelson went ahead of her jurisdiction, seeking relief from the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis, the appeal means stopping Nelson’s Judgment and let the appeals process go on.
Players have been emailed they can legally turn up at the team facilities, and they all should be reporting to work on Tuesday, Nelson’s court order keeps of the clubs from locking out players under contract, which will allow them to show up to work, and owners have to go on with the Judge’s order until they get a stay order or they will be in violation of Judge Nelson’s order if they don’t allow access.
All the 32 teams have been informed to allow the players into the buildings, Oakland Raiders tight end Zach Miller said I told my guys if they are under contract, they are allowed to go into the facility tomorrow to work out, get treatment and watch film. Linebacker Ben Leber said we’re in a ‘Wild West’ right now. Football is back to business, but guess what? There are no rules. There’s a lot of positive to that, but there’s also a lot of negatives.
Everybody is thrilled that Football is back to business.
