On Saturday, New Orleans Saints has agreed to release their offensive tackle, Jammal Brown to the Washington Redskins.
Jammal Brown was ruled out for 2009 regular season due to hip and hernia injuries. Brown signed for $3.62 million contract before the trade. Brown has also missed the New Orleans Saints voluntary workouts this off-season as he was not happy with the offer. They are not clear whether Brown will play 90 percent of the matches next season or get voted to the Pro Bowl. Washington Redskins will send their 2012 sixth-round pick to New Orleans Saints. However, Redskins has six picks in the 2011 draft.
Jammal Brown is ready to correct the problems in the Redskins right tackle. Redskins are in modifying the line after appointing Mike Shanahan as a new coach. Last year, Redskins had 4-12 season.
