The NFL team owners and players new collective bargaining agreement holds in the Boston, where the NFL officials and players representatives have participated in the talks.
The NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and members of his labor committee recommence discussions with players’ association chief DeMaurice Smith and several players on Wednesday 22nd June. The National Football League Players Association officials said that, talks are in progress and it might take more two weeks for a new agreement. Goodell said that, it was a good day for team owner and players, where both had full talks on the issue.
The NFL owners have spent five hours on Tuesday to discuss on various issues. Later, the league’s chief negotiator Jeff Pash said that, everyone is very excited to accelerate the talks between owners and players. Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay said that, it’s something all the members are keep on working to resolve this issue.
The owners’ lockout of the players has started on 12th March, where the training camps are scheduled to open in July, 2011, The Baltimore Ravens has happen to the first NFL team to change its preseason plans on Wednesday 22nd June, as Baltimore Ravens will start their practice near Baltimore, instead of McDaniel College in Winchester.
