NY Giants won against New York Jets in their first preseason game at New Meadowlands Stadium on 16th August. NY Giants turned a loss against Pittsburgh Steelers with 24-17 in their second preseason game on 20th August. In the third game, Giants lost against Baltimore Ravens with 24-10 at M&T Bank Stadium that was held on last Saturday. In their final preseason game, New York Giants won against New England Patriots with 20-17.

Carolina Panthers turned a 17-12 loss against Baltimore Ravens in their first preseason game on 12th August. They were defeated by New York Jets in the second game too with 9-3. However, Panthers performed well in their third game and overwhelmed Tennessee Titans with 15-7 that was held on last Saturday. Panthers lost against Steelers with 19-3 in their final preseason game of this season.
