NFL Suspended Seattle Seahawks Linebacker Leory Hill for One Match

Leory Hill NFL suspended Seattle Seahawks linebacker, Leory Hill for one match for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.

Leory Hill will miss the September 12th match against San Francisco 49ers at Qwest Field. Leory Hill was the 34th pick of the third round in the 2005 NFL Draft by Seattle Seahawks.

Leory Hill can participate in all the training sessions and preseason matches of Seattle Seahawks. He will be available for the September 13th match. Last month, Leory Hill met NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell regarding this issue. In January 2009, Hill was arrested in Georgia for taking marijuana. Hill received 12 months probation through a plea agreement which was decided earlier.

Leory Hill’s has signed for a six years extension with Seattle Seahawks before the start of 2009 season. Since 2005 with Seahawks, Hill has started 61games among his career 67 games. Leory Hill’s shows his best performance in the year 2006 and had 92 tackles. Last year, hill has played only 11 games and had 46 tackles.
