Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton who is in the news for last few months as he is the No. 1 draft pick of Panthers.
Cam Newton the Panthers rookie is rookie is spending much of his time in quiet Bradenton, Fla., working on developing a game that will translate at the professional level. He said that his goal is to be a great football player.
Newton was sure that which quarterbacks have had both personal and team success, and he uses those Pro Bowlers as a compass for guiding his own young career. He added that guys like Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, and Ben Roethlisberger as great players of the sport. Newton said that he loves Peyton Manning as he controls the whole game and is the dictator out there on the field. Peyton doesn’t let the defense dictate him. Aaron Rodgers is a machine as far as Cam Newton. Tom Brady is an ultimate leader. Drew Brees is a savvy guy in the pocket.
The 22-year-old has been working with Chris Weinke, the program’s director and a former Panthers QB and Heisman Trophy winner himself. Working with Weinke at IMG has been an ideal situation for Newton.
Now Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has new challenges of improving a Carolina Panthers team that has finished 2-14 a season ago. Newton said that he love challenges in his life.
