Marcus Cannon, New England Patriots rookie guard said he is feeling great after undergoing treatment for cancer. Recently, Cannon underwent chemotherapy treatment and he is overcoming the disease that was affected him three months ago at the NFL Scouting Combine.
New England Patriots has drafted him in the fifth round NFL Draft 2011. On Thursday Cannon spoke with a sports channel for the first time after taking treatment, he has just finished his second phase of treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Cannon said that he will be very humble for the support he has been receiving for Patriot Fans and also w ho wished him through Facebook and Twitter.
Cannon said that he had two days of treatment and his recovering process is progressing well as he is moving well. He hasn’t looking for exact time period to recover and how many phases of treatment he undergo as he is looking better and better as time is going on.
He added that it was far better now when it was actually affected and he is confident the he will be overcoming completely after a couple more phases of treatment. Cannon just had a word with Boston College linebacker Mark Herzlich; he has also fought with cancer. Patriots Cannon stated that he is hoping all will be going good and recover soon.
